Upcoming Shows

It is the time of year to take the leap to apply for the growing list of wonderful show opportunities there are in the New England and surrounding areas in which to showcase my work and meet new clients.  I am thrilled to begin with 6 venues where I will be this summer and fall, I am looking forward to this list growing so I can reach out beyond my home base of Boothbay Harbor.

The first show of the season is the Maine Home & Design Show on June 29 – July 1, this will be my third year as an exhibitor at this show and a new venue for them.  I love the mix of clients and friends that attend this show that has 150 different vendors & artisans.  This year the show will coincide with Cellardoor Winery’s, Pop the Cork event, not to be missed.  Worth the trip up to midcoast Maine’s Camden, Rockland & Rockport area!

I have been accepted to participate as a new artist in the Blue Hill Fine Art & Craft Show this summer on July 21 & 22nd in Blue Hill, Maine.  This is an elite show of  45 fine crafts people from within the  state of Maine.  I am excited to exhibit in such a beautiful part of this northern coastal region of the state.

My first show in September, which is by far my favorite time of the year in Maine, will be the Laudholm Nature Craft Festival  at Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve in Wells, Maine.  A stunning venue for a juried show that has an excellent reputation for 100 high-end Maine artisans in a two-day festival September 8th & 9th.

The second show in September is a wonderful show that has grown each year, the 14th annual Freeport Fall in the Village Art & Music Festival held at L.L.Bean discovery park September 15th & 16th. Two great days of art & music in a town that is always buzzing with wonderful energy and people from around the world who visit the iconic store known for it’s Maine roots. I have enjoyed this show for it’s varied group of juried vendors and the wonderful music that livens the spirit!

I am honored again this year that I have been chosen by the jury to be included in is The Common Ground Fair in Unity, Maine.  Last year was my first opportunity to show my work at the fair and I was thrilled since this is a special fair to me and my family.  We have been visiting the fair for many years and have always enjoyed the wonderful mix of exhibitors and what I consider to be the best of what Maine has to offer.  Being part of the mix had always been a dream of mine and I was not disappointed last year, it was a terrific experience!

My first  holiday show will begin on a Friday evening the 16th of November through Sunday the 18th at Point Lookout in Northport, Maine. I was chosen as one of 40 artists for the Artful Gifts show that is in it’s 5th year. All show admissions to benefit Coastal Mountains Land Trust & United Mid-Coast Charities, this show is a must attend event with a wonderful mix of juried and talented artisans.

My list will grow in the next couple of months so please check back for updates.
